That still looks clampable. Push the mettle pipe in as far as it will go then use 2 clips. One on the pipe flush with the samco the other on the samco that should stop the clip from slipping.

Thats a throttle body hose... Nobody else has had problems with this... Guessing maybe it wasn't clamped it properly if that metal hose wasn't inserted far enough.

actually Paul, mine has the same problems as well.Not as bad though,the bit that has been torn is only by a margin.Eventually it will end up as the one in the picture.Maybe samco can make this hole a bit further up so it can hold a bigger clipComment
