This one is 3" thick and has far more surface area than the standard

      Taken from the auction:-

      OVERALL SIZE = Length 28" x Height 9" x Width 3"
      CORE SIZE = Length 20.5" x Height 9" x Width 3"
      INLET/OUTLET DIAMETER = 2.5"

            Just beware of the rubber bends/joiners - they're *****!
I bought a pipe kit for my Golf Mk2 20vt - pipes were fine but the joiners were thin and split easily...

The IC is temporarily off the car pending some new pipes. The 3"ers where not playing ball

They where crap to coin a phrase

Back to the drawing board and an order for some stainless mandrel bent 2.5" pipe segments

It isn't going to beat me !!

Are you having to modify the bumper much, if at all, to fit that size intercooler?
My urs6 is in desperate need of a FMIC so I will be watching with interest

                    Hello mate.
I had it fitted at the weekend but the pipe kit above is 3" and too big - Plus the hose sections you got with it are crap so I am going to order some bent pipe sections and make a proper set up my self - other than that I have also asked Corey at Quattronics, in Lincoln, to give me a price on a hose kit to save me the hassle !

With the smaller 2.5" piping, you shouldn't have to do too much to the bumper. May have to cut away a little of the plastic at the back but nowt too horrid :
