After run fan

When i first got my car if i pulled up at a petrol station and was filling up about 30 seconds the fan would cut in this is oviously the after run pump workin

but its stopped doing it and when car gets hot only the high speed fan will cut in

Am i right in thinking that the relay that contols the after run also controls the 1st speed fan

There is a Sensor under the inlet manifold attached to the water rail, its to the left of the MFTs,
You you can just about get a hand in there. If you unplug the two flat connectors and join them together the fan should come on at speed one.
Its worth checking this first as it seams these connections are renowned for corrosion issues.

Also have a search on the forum - After run fan issues have been covered lots of time already.

Yes with ignition off.

Im guessing it should also work with ignition on..
mind your fingers round that fan though
