Going to do a oil change

    Hi just some advice
When changing the oil should i drain from the sump and also the intercooler?
What i mean is will i get more crap out if i was to disconnect the intercooler, or is this not required?

Intercooler is in no way connected to the oil supply/sump.
    This should answer your question
'If you ain't broke it you ain't trying hard enough'

    Oh sh*t i broke it

Do you mean Oil Cooler? I wouldn't worry about it.
If the oil is changed regularly with good oil there shouldn't be any crap in there anyway.

Middle, bottom is your intercooler. There won't be any oil in there unless there is something wrong.
On the left of that (if you're looking at the car) is your oil cooler (about 8" wide). As Stu says it's unlikely there will be much crud in there if the car has been looked after.

By the way my other posts,
Thanks for the help from all the vacuum hoses are now all connected.
The cars hesitation was fixed by cleaning the MAF and i found a hose not tight.
I have booked it in with a audi specialist (not a Dealer) to read any fault codes and to check my ecu for tampering.
              Cheers
