    High idle to cut out.

If i run i high revs then let it back to idle it will just go straight off.

Any ideas what could cause this to happen?

    Thanks James

If the valve is faulty putting on Samco's wont fix it.

Remove it and clean it out with wd40 and carb cleaner.

If it's not opening and letting air the engine revs will go wonky.

        I'm betting it's the ISV

the isv work fine pre samcos, the wgfv looked pretty rusty.

WGFV controls boost pressure from the turbo can't see how that would affect the revs?

the 2pin conection on the back of the wgfv what does that do? Also carb cleaner and wd40 are the best bet yes ? on the isv?

Sounds identical to the problem I had after replacing the turbo... never quite figured out what could have changed it, the only real difference was the hotside and i vented teh breather system to atmosphere. it wasn't a problem with the ISV, WGFV, or ECU mapping.

After cleaning up and replumbing in the breather system, and ensuring everything was tightened up, and a good cleaning of all the ignition contacts, it seemed to be running fine and I didn't have any stalling issues. But then I didn't get much chance to test it out

Thats the connection to the ECU that controls the WGFV opening frequency

The breather system is on a catch tank and the exit from the maf is blocked off, this is strange i am going to have to take it apart again i think its in the area of the MAF now the samcos are on the noise the air filter makes has changed so it could be a crushed pipe maybe?

Idile is fine tick over but coming onto boost is a bit jerky (revs fine just not that smooth pull) but the car have been ran for 3-4days.

The change in noise could well be down to the hoses. I noticed a slight difference when i changed turbo (the intake hose was 2.75" rather than 2"), not counting the awesome sound of the Dual-BB turbo of course once it starts going!!

Sorry i can't help much more with the stalling, hope you get it sorted.
