    K24 Rebuild Options

    Car was going great today in the cold weather, until it started throwing up a smoke screen any time i stopped at traffic lights

    Where is the best place to get a quickie rebuild done, or has anybody tackled it DIY with one of the eBay kits?

      Do you want a loan of a K24 7000 ? or an S2 Avant ?

      I can take it off one of the spare UrS6 cars and drop it over to your tomorrow ?

      In parallel, there is a place in Blanch that rebuild and test them in house. Might be worth a visit as they are close, and open at 9:00am tomorrow.

          Well this is embarrassing, i checked the oil separator and its brimmed to the top with engine oil. No wonder it was smoking at idle, doh

              It's great that that's all it was. A lot less grief.

              Similar to you, today I found my 'lost' turbo and also the 'missing' crank pulley.
