I was wondering why doesn't Cossie engines have a MAF at the inlet like the Audi? Is the measuring taking place elsewhere? Or is it a more simple concept? Is this the reason why atmospheric dump valves can be used on this engines (in contrast to our Audi engines)? And is this also the reason why aftermarket computers are so populair on them?
As far as I know only the latest Escort RS Cosworth with small turbo and Ford own "Motronic" is using a MAF.
