    Removing fuel expansion tank

I am building a stripped out s2 for fast road and track days. I am correct in saying the box next to the fuel filler neck, is an expansion tank?

are they an adverse effects removing this ?

I plan on running some of these one way valves to vent the tank to atmosphere, removing the carbon cannister. https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p...push-on-m-tpv8
they only open under 0.05 bar + or - pressure to try and alleviate fuel vapour smells.

    Cheers
    Adam

The roll-over valve is incorporated into the top of the expansion tank. If you remove it, you need to make sure you fit one in the tank vent plumbing .

You can buy very reasonable priced fuel cells off eBay I have one and roll over valve on a -6 line out the top less than £200 if I remember correctly
