Air intake temp sensor fault

Not having a much luck with the car at the moment

Latest problem Is a fault code
1 Fault Found:

00523 - Intake Air Temp Sensor (G42)

30-00 - Open or Short to B+

I read a thread by stu (4 wheeldrifter) but its inconclusive

I messured the across the two terminals on the sensor and got a reading of 520 so the sensor is not a fault.

Where do i go next?

Re solder the joints at the end of the two terminals.
I had the exact same fault and the solder had dried out and cracked where the wires are soldered on to the sensor.
Definately worth doing before you do anything else I would say. Then test the wires for continuity if that doesnt work...use s2 central maybe for wiring diagrams to find where they terminate?
