Yes I got rid of mine with a new lambda, also though make sure you reset the ECU either by fuse or by clearing the adaptation tables via vagcom.

Cheers, did you get it from GSF , part no ?, direct replacement or did you have to adapt the wiring ?

I've got a GSF one as it was dirt cheap, direct replacement with wiring.

Had no problem with it although others out there recommend sticking with the bosch original which I can't argue against.

Dunno what the part number was it's not 93037 you have to ask at the store my mate got it for me.

got the same 2 errors myself today.
          537 -Lambda
08-10 Control Limit Surpassed - Intermittent
or which is quite new i might add, only about 10000Kms

          561 - Mixture Adaption
          14-00 Adaption Limit (Add) Exceeded

anyone knows what the G39 sensor is?
i could change the small tube that is left after the maf since this is replaced with metal tubing mostly, but i doubt it is that. Also downpipe and full exhaust system is replaced so that cannot be it either.

besides being the maf itself,im puzzled about the fuel pressure regulation that comes with the 537 code.I recently replaced the fuel filter and so the only thing remaining is the regulator itself as the fuel pump is new as well.

          what do you reckon?

                Update,

since recently finding a small hole in the turbo maf hose, was at turbo aperture under the hose clamp, I've got rid of both 537 & 561 codes, been checking frequently and they ain't came back , been through about a hose per year so far...

MAF now changed, car thrashed a little bit,no more 00561 code. Also the 00537 code is also gone which means that it was probably caused by the faulty MAF.
Also EGT temps on high rpm have also dropped as expected.now egt at hotside doesnt go over 900C
