If the cracks are less than 0.5mm wide and the cracks do not reach beyond the first thread in the spark plug hole, the head is serviceable

Looking at how much a head is going for in good nick I'd say a good welder can sort it and you'd still come out in front

It's a fairly big job whoever does it for you. Head completely stripped, affected valve seats removed, cracks ground out, head heated up, rod material matched to suit the alloy of the head, welded, ground back, new valve seats installed and cut, head skimmed, line honing checked for cams, rebuild head. A lot of work and associated cost. I would look for a specialist who has a good track record in this type of repair. Can't recommend anyone from experience.

I did think it’s a big job but it’s been sat in my shed for over 5 year now and the time has come to do it up or get rid. It was never a problem when on the car it was changed because a better option came up. I dont know of any head specialist locally that’s capable. but I’ll have an ask about. Cheers

Maybe just sell it as it is give someone the chance of a cheapish head then let them sort it out

It will more than likely run with no problems on a standard trim S2.

Do a pressure test on the head if it passes is all good if not is the above a bit of a bill...

Yes. Not done anything with it yet. Still sat in my workshop.
