You know the score with a completely standard car and can fault find much easier with it. Get it back to standard and get it sorted by one of the specialists that have been mentioned.

Eric's car is absolutely mint and has been well looked after by him, I'd be tempeted to listen to his recommendations and even send him a PM for more ideas of places to take it in Scotland.

There's an awful lot of knowledge on here, 'the forum' has helped me to save £100s so well worth a bit of searching.

DON'T use Highland Audi, David in the parts department is the only one saine in the place. Try the hoses at the back of the manifold this was my problem and a spray of carb cleaner on the MAF sensorwires in the air feed pipe, I sorted the problem so good that i got caught doing 80mp, Result 3 points and £60 less in the wallet (By the way I work in Invergordon not to far away!).
