As I don't want to remove the auxillary rad this may be an option as it has both inlet and outlet on the same side. From the pictures of Doug's car he had to do quite a bit of modification around the front end to accomodate the pipework.
This one is quite wide though and I don't want to have to remove the oil cooler duct.

Doug had a reversed manifold on his car hence the pipe work.
Sorry, it wasn't Doug's as I thought. Think it may have been Martin's.
This one.
I want to upgrade the intercooler to an RS2 one but as with most RS2 bits they're rare as rocking horse ***.
If the one I posted before will fit without too much butchering of the car then I'll be happy with that.
Dan, I thought you were keeping your S2 "stock". You won't be allowed to show'n'shine in the stock class at ADI with a modified intercooler!

You can get these IC's from loads of sellers on ebay now, They are the bar and plate type like the one in Bo's pictures. I only got mine from Australia because it was the only one available at the time. Doug and Tom got theirs from the sdame seller but Mark got his from the US and Jeffer found a supplier in Holland for his.
I found that you need to get the ic to sit in a certain place of it will foul the top or bottom of the bumper or the crank pulley. The back of the grills will need to be trimmed slightly also but thats not noticable when its all fitted, and there is less room behind the RS2 bumper i found, which will need more trimming where the small lower grills sit (see pics in Dougs thread)

Martin kindly made me some caliper mounting brackets and he came round on rather damp Saturday and I made the cross member in situ. I will see if I can find the original thread.
