hello everyone i have just bought a audi s2 coupe 1995 i think the car is not performing to its full potential and seems to be lacking power as my vr6 corrado seems to have more power. Does anyone have any ideas why my audi isnt performing very well? i have had the car tested for faults and no faults have appeared, the engine seems in good working order as it has only covered 100,000 miles the car seems to be in limp mode!!!!!!! Also can anyone let me know if they have any rs 2 parts for sale?????????

Hi
Modding it before its running right, you will fit in just fine
Most likely a boost leak
The search button will become your best friend

hi Steve
Like terence says...
You need to firstly do a pressure test on the car to see where (not if) it has boost leaks!! (and do teh Mark H mod at the same time!! ** use the advanced search function > and search for "mark h" mod in the title**
pressure test info
next move I would say would be to replace the WGFV (wastegate frequency valve) as these are known to cause trouble and are only ÂŁ35~
A faulty N75 valve (WGFV) will reduce your boost to wastegate spring level = 0.4 bar iirc
Next stop, if you car doesn't have one would be to fit a boost gauge. Im well pleased I fitted one when I first got my s2 as its invaluable for troubleshooting on a basic level..
good luck

In fairness to the S2 your corrado comes with 190bhp IIRC and has less to lug around and two wheel drive, might not be as down on power as you think, especially as no fault codes have come up! I would be inclined to give it a good service then a severe pasting for several weeks till a code appears then you will have something to look into. Boost leaks are common though mine was leaking fro ages before i found it!Ragusa Coupe gone!

I think they ment they were going to fit the N75 which is the WGFV,
you could check the condition of this your self or just replace it. I did my from the stealers at about ÂŁ40ish

Use the search button at the top for RS2 bits, Vag parts do genuine new from germany and corey sells 034 stuff, MRC are handy lads but don't know if they get lots of bits. Few others on here too. Second hand stuff is usually the bay!Ragusa Coupe gone!
