  • rings for 80.98 piston

    Hi, what is the size of the rings for the original 80.98 pistons?
    Step 1: setup. <==
    Step 2: potentiation.
    Step 3: enjoy.

    Standard size. The bore should be 81.01, so the rings are that size minus their end gap which is 0.3 or 4 from memory.
    Top ring 1mm, 2nd ring 1.5mm, oil control ring 3mm.

      No need for that big ring end gaps? 0,45mm first, 0,50mm second, 0,40mm oil rings. Very good for motosport use, and still some wear reserve, and should be zero oil cosumption.

        It was ring thickness I was providing, not end gaps
