Oil pressure questation

Hi!

Today i noticed some strange oil pressure on mine s2 aby. At cold engine and idle i has about 4-4.b bar and at hot idle i get about 2 bar. That seem to be ok. Problem is that i had only 3-3.5bar maxi at hot engine at higher revs. I use castrol rs oil and oil level is ok.
any ideas?

First check oil pressure with known-good mechanical pressure gauge at workshop. Electrical ones are for aproximate pressure checking (like good/bad/need to worry/ok).

today i found out that i completly forgot to change oil so oil in my car is there for about year and half and was runing for about 17.000km. could this cause the problem?

This can be cause of the problem. I mean worn crankshaft bearings and stuff .

17000 km is approx 10000 miles.
Service schedule is 10000 miles for oil is it not?
You wont f*** your engine if you use decent quality synthetic oil and change at 10000 miles...

i forgot to change oil. i am using castrol rs oil.....

well i am thinking about replacing oil sensor at first place.....and then i will think about bearings and co
is it possible that oil pump simply give up cause car has more then 100.000real km?
any ideas is it possible to change those bearings without replacing motorhead?

today i have another problem, mine voltmeter stops at 10 volts (i check up the battery and it has 11.6volts and when car is runing there is 13.8 volts from alternator) but voltmeter shows only 10v.
do you think it is related to problem with oil gaugage ? could i have some electro gizmo there?

any ideas?!

Glad to hear that. Maybe I sound too pesimistics, but like thay say in the cartoon. "Remember kids, only good oil is allowed in audi turbo engines!".
