Walbro fuel pump wires/tank rubber seal

I have just fitted a walbro fuel pump and im wondering what wire is what ? from the pump its a black wire and a red wire the connector is pink/black and a black wire from the main loom its green/yellow and a brown wire the p/b goes to the red and black to black iv wired the p/b to the g/y and black to brown just wondering if this is correct? also what is the best way to fit the rubber seal back in the tank as iv been trying for over an hour and no joy

I'm in the process of doing this today too. The green/yellow wire or the vertical connector of the T in the T shaped connector tank side is the live and the horizontal is the return as pictured. Haven't got onto the rubber tank seal yet... HTH

Thanks mate, so the single black wire on the walbro harness would go to the g/y ?

No, I think it's black to brown and red to green/yellow as far as my wiring goes
