    Hesitation

Looks like ive got a little problem on my S2 now, on boost it has started to hesitate a bit as the boost comes in. Been wondering if it could be a boost leak or if the map needs adjusting on it.

Peak boost went upto 1.97bar norm upto 1.8-1.9bar.

Only thing I can think of that might have done it was the accelerator cable had stretched a bit and I re adjusted the cable with the clip on the throttle body so might be getting more WOT now.

Depending on how the maestro has setup temp compensation for your boost curve, you just might be getting more boost cos of baltic air temps recently and that is enough extra that you can feel the hesitation from the timing being retarded as result perhaps. Very hard to say... I would wait and see if the behaviour persists if the weather warms up a bit.

Doubt you are getting 'more' WOT than before - its either WOT or its not !

              hesitation

Just be sure not to miss a loose spark plug.

Lambada sensor? Was the cause of some hesitation on mine at full boost. Showed up as an active map control or active mapping error on an ECU check.

I found the problem and fixed it today, after waiting for some parts. spark plug 5 was upto its neck in oil because of the camcover seal
