Ring end gap Mahle 2020

Hi.

I am just gapping new mahle pistons. 81.51, 0.06mm bore to wall. if i look at mahle 2020 chart. top an second same gaps

quite big gaps vs oem

what do u think should be right gap, 600-700 hp.

You certainly need a larger gap for that sort of power. Better to have some gap than have them pinch up. I would go with their specs since they will have tested them.

i know i need som extra gap. think i will go for 0,0062" pr bore " thats around 0.5mm top an second ring. does i sound crazy ?
