  • DO88 hoses compared to other brands.

    Hi

Was wondering if anyone is running DO88 hoses on their S2?

I am concidering buying the Roose Motorsport hoses (which I know, yes it's better),
but.. for the price the DO88 seems like a more decent upgrade for a S2 with just a simple chip upgrade.

Roose will set me back at least 3x the price for all hoses, that's before tax, shipping, toll etc. over here in Norway.

So my question is, how do the DO88 compare to the Roose Motorsport hoses / Samco hoses? It's a 3B so Samco isn't an option.

I have the one for my throttle body as I had a problem with my Roose one and it's absolutely perfect since 3 years now.

Sounds great, i ordered the 3 kits for my car yesterday. I couldnt defend the price difference going for Roose.

            Thanks for the feedback

I've just ordered the intercooler kit as the standard hoses on mine are very perished. I'll report back when they arrive

                    so...
                    I not so happy with...

                    Samco!

From new, the "T" piece was therrible and must changed for other one from eBay (not know now if is do or other one) MUCH BETTER than Samco's
PD: and some other hoses aren't too good, too... the hose form MAF to turbo is a litlle bit fair "strait", for example.

So Samco isnt good for these cars? Ive installed the hoses, it seems quite okay, fitment was okay as well.
Had to take a lot off again but was quite okay.

Samco's are OK, unfortunately the throttle body hose is the weakpoint of them as they do not have a long enough outlet on the ISV valve outlet

I have do88 everything and been happy with them. Hose clamps and how you tighten them makes big difference also...
