    WR quattro ECU conversion

I've decided that upgrading the ignition system on my WR is the best way to go with it. On K-Jetronic it has been unreliable at best.

So I'm looking at a MaxxECU conversion. I have Performance Vehicle Engineering lined up to do this as Steve there knows his stuff and has converted a few now. One of the projects he has worked on is documented here: https://www.p-v-e.co.uk/work_blog/jamies-quattro/

But I wondered if anyone on here could advise of any off the shelf/custom items that I could source to keep costs down to a degree or known easy modifications that can be made to the hardware to suit the MaxxECU.

The main hurdles are a crank position sensor and TPS sensor. So if anyone has any pointers on these please let me know.

I already have the following which I plan to use:
    3b airbox
    ABY or 440cc injectors
    034 WR spec fuel rail

Any other tips would be much appreciated.

@Alex/Error404 apologies if you see this, I know we have spoken about a lot of this but I have a memory like a sieve!

As for crank trigger, you could use the stock double-trouble setup that Audi has going on, but if you want to cut down on wiring this is probably the way to go.

It's a rear main seal with built in trigger. Downsides is that it's expensive and you kinda have to modify the block/flywheel for the cable. Also, you still need the hall-sensor in the distributor for camsync regardless

TPS is pretty easy, you can just make a little adapterplate like thus to run whichever one you'd like
