stroker (diesel block) engine mounts washers for Coupe chassis

Hi Folks,

how thick washer do you use on the engine mounts to keep the clearance between the hood and the engine on the Coupe chassis? Around 4mm? I have Verkline (red) engine mounts and AAT diesel block. Not sure how thick it has to be to have clearance between.

I seem to remember I lowered mine by about 5mm, I also removed some of the plastic trim on the bonnet.

Thanks, Andy. I haven't any plastic on my bonnet I will make these washers 5mm thick and will see. Hopefully, it will clear the space. Won't this washer affect the level of the gearbox and prop shaft?
