What ECU to use on UR S4 @ 400+bhp?

Is it possible to get a remap which will allow for different turbo Gt3071R or Gt3076R with tubular manifold, cams, exhaust change (No cats) front mont intercooler, injectors etc.

Or will i have to look at aftermarket management (Autronic)

    you

still use your ecu, but you need a chip, a new setup for the new turbine and injectors etc. If you are aming at 400hp you will need to do something to the engine too.. the original pistons etc can take 380max

Thanks for the reply at least thats a saving and less hassle.

      380bhp on stock pistons
What about the rest of the internals?
      Injector size?

Personally I think you need to take time out and speak directly to Corey or MRC via PM or the phone as you have posted alot of questions that are quite basic in terms of tuning and have been covered on the forum in numerous posts.

The AAN engine is the same as the ABY basically so all the tuning options of the S2 apply to the S4

They can point you in the right direction for your money and spec you wish to acheive and you can plan a proper road map for your upgrade.

What your doing is getting advice from one person then going back to another person who gave you different advice and challenging it.

Whilst this can be good it's also counter productive as there are tuners out there that don't believe the bhp figures and tuning methods often practiced on this forum are possible using a standard ECU or equipment.

Original pistons are good for lots of horses (600 +), rods are the first weakness. Yeah, talk to mrc or similar, they will guide you down the slippery slope!

I understand but your at a vunerable stage where cheque book tuners would head hunt you as a customer telling you you need xyz for 10k when you need xy and can do it for £2.5k for example.

A good chat with Corey for example getting the basic spec right is essential IMO also it will help you with your understanding.

Also try searching the forum and reading on key words such as remap, pistons, RS2 turbo etc

There's one for example by Newsh 3b to RS2 spec and one by Ross Project 400 which show an engine being rebuilt up to suitable spec.

There's another older thread by Doug_RS2 of MRC tuning less applicable now but you can see the type of things people have gone through to get to a certain power level.
