Hello, Does anyone have a pic of the cables connected to the starter solenoid. The two smaller cables that go to the terminals on the solenoid, one is black plastic female cover, standard square end, the other is white/transparent BUT has a plastic spigot out the side of the female cover that looks like it only fits one terminal. Like an idiot I forgot to take a picture before I dismantled. Thanks for any info. Paul

I have managed to turn the motor albeit very slowly, then stops with the starter. About 3 revolutions. The battery is fully charged but fizzes and a smell of suphlur gas when turning. Does this indicate the starter may be at fault?, it's a recon unit I fitted only 5 years ago and was fine when I laid the car up around 3 years ago. It has hardly been used. I have a battery tester en route to test the cranking amps too. Bl**dy electrics again... -
For record purposes, I bought a good battery tester off Amazon and tested both batteries that showed a good charge. Both came up as Replace Battery ie cell/s were dead - one battery 2019 and the other 12 months old (this has been returned under 24month warranty) New 720A battery arrived, tested immediately on arrival and all good (cell resistance very low as per manual).
