samco and pipe?

just curious ;
some of tuners use metal pipe instead of hoses. i will receve a samco set soon do you think i will need this metal pipe when do the turbo upgrade?or samcos are enough?

are we using these metal pipes cause samco wasnt making hoses until now?

The reason I am using that metal pipe is becasue the compressor inlet on a K26/27/29 is larger than standard.

The Samco might stretch on to these bigger turbos - we'll have to wait and see (I don't think it will) - if it doesn't fit there is probably a market for that spare Samco - I think I will be selling mine.

It's just sprayed with hammerite chrome paint - the cheap way to do it.
