    KV/3B differences

Im trying to find out the differences between a KV block and a 3B block I want to use a kv block for a 400bhp project I’m thinking of doing.

I’m sorry if this has been asked before.

Same block. Only turbo oil return hole is not drilled.

I’m assuming it’s only a case of drilling the correct size hole gallery

Not easily. Surface is not machined.
Also from some old thread, most KV blocks seems to have the breather.

Ok well I have a breather on the side of my block iv just looked.

But im wondering if it would be easier to go down the 7a route and have liners put in.

Why liners? Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy bigger pistons for 7A block?
NG has the same block as 7A.
Newer NG has same waterpump/timing belt system like ABY.
