Are there any yellow metals in a KV engine cooling system?

Car is a type 85/b2 - 1987 audi coupe quattro.

I believe some of the coolant bottles have a brass bush inside the pipe fittings where the jubilee clip goes. If you have an original radiator, might also have brass or bronze tank ends? Test with a magnet.

The radiator is about 3 years old and has a plastic top. *NRF brand i think?

As Dave says theres often a brass bush in the header tank, also some water pumps use a yellow alloy for the impeller. The old Nissens radiators have brass end tanks but that’s not a concern given you have a new rad.
