    Flame Trap? Where is it?

Just brought a flame trap as I have read on previous threads that its worth getting changed plus its only cheap.

Does anyone know where it actually goes, I'm presuming it sits inside one of the PCV systems tubes but not sure which one.

Can anyone please tell me which one it is. It will save me a job instead of taken the whole system out just to find it.

    Cheers Ian

Brilliant, so its just a cause of removing the PCV valve and fishing around for it.

      Pulling it out then replacing.

Yeah its "quite" a nice job but if you look at the picture of my old one the pvc valve was badly worn but also some of the hoses were also very worn!!!! I think Vag parts quoted £200 for the lot but i went down the catch tank route.

If you have an ABY it's on the right hand side of the PCV valve in the pipe towards the bulkhead.
