    Fuel pump?

The cam sensor on my ABY engine is working properly and with nearly 5volts across 2 and 3 connectors
I’ve loosened the fuel pipe to the fuel rail, should fuel squirt out with force? Fuel appears to dribble out while cranking
who reckons I’ve got a pump problem?
while cranking I can feel the f/pump relay clicking inside, I guess that’s doing what it should be doing
    thanks for any help?

As above and you should hear it prime for a few seconds when you first turn on the ignition prior to you turning the key to the start position

Sorry, incorrect. The ABY doesn't prime on ignition like other VAG cars.

Mark 4 Golfs prime the fuel pressure on door opening. Great idea. They also have weak door microswitches that break, that are encased within door latch modules inside the door shell.

Ingenious piece of VAG design. You get a no-start problem which solved by stripping the door right down to the latch internals and cracking out the soldering iron…

            …ask me how I know

Speaking of ingenious design…guess what happens if the brake light fuse on an Automatic Cab blows
