Hi,Looking for help my s2 avant aby pulls hard when cold but when it gets up to temp it dies under hard acceleration but if you accelerate gradually theres no problem. Is this a symptom of the dreaded coil packs on their way out?

Try cleaning the MAF with electrical cleaner or a bath of alcohol isopropyl.

No. You need to remove it. Just do a search for "maf baf" on the forum in post titles and there is a good guide I think

Just a word of advice from your first post.
Dont drive any car hard when its cold especially a forced induction one.
Nothing is upto operating temperature, oil is not doing its job properly, extra fuel enrichment on the cold start cycle washes the bores of the film of oil, piston rings are not sealing properly - i could go on!
Wait until your oil temp is rising - youll realise how long this takes!

                  Pete.
