    Water pump noisey

Found out what was causing my knocking grumbling noise it was the water pump

At the moment it is all stripped down went to work thought i would just order a water pump and all the bits and the water pump is on back order

I can get a rs2 pump the factory has 3 but is it ok 2 use a rs2 water pump and belt

Also having trouble removing bottom pulley bolt have the tool 2084 think it is and it only just reachs the lump thing in the pulley and when i went to undo it it just slipped now wont hold at all the tool isnt deep enough ne 1 had this problem

RS2 pump is different, you have to change a few bits to use one.
        Stock one is ok.

The ADU water pump has fewer teeth on the pulley, that is all AFAIK.
7A/3B is different, as the mounting holes are slotted so it can be used to tension the cambelt.

That's a good question, as the RS2's timing marks don't line up.
Someone here who is using an ADU pump on an ABY will be able to tell you. Unless you do it yourself, then you'll know for sure.

it doesn't alter the timing, just spins faster!

i thought that u have 2 use the rs2 belt aswell which is shorter so if there are less teeth then wont that mean the speed will differ between the bottom pulley and the cam

Its ok neil i have found a tool at work that works thanks any way mate

No its the difference in number of teeth between top and bottom pully that govern the speed (2-1) the belt just keeps them joined and timed, nothing to do with number of teeth.

Belt length will alter and this will only be a problem if you run out of adjustment on the tensioner.
