strange boost problem...

a friend of mine has an RS2 tuned up to 354whp.has changed the block to 2.4l,pistons,rods,turbonetics turbo intercooler from an evo etc..

he had tuned the car to run on 1.9bar over and 1.7 steady until a few days ago when this was replaced by 1.3bar max boost up to the red line!!!!

he has done a search for boost leaks all round,hears no hissing sound,he has small samcos since almost everything is replaced by metal hoses,and still cannot find the reason....

i was thinking..could this be a faulty Pka sensor??? how can he measure the Pka sensor to see the working order?

lol sry for my bad English, especially the tech stuff.

I think i've had a similar problem like you. Hoses where not the problem.
The problem with 'her' was a "pinched" fuel conduct. So there was not enough fuel getting to the engine. Very rare problem i think.
