First of i'd like to apologies to not replying to the thread i posted about getting banned as i went away to work the next day and still don't know what's happening yet
Any way thought about getting rid of the s2 and getting a tvr cerebra, but looked at my poor s2 the other day and want to keep it.
Need a shopping list for about 3-4 grand to spend on it.
It's a 3b, with scorpion exhaust, de cat, k&n cone filter, remaped ecu with 3bar map sensor and a stiffer wg spring.
Suggestions please

How about brakes and suspension upgrades first, i.e. RS2 FARB/whiteline RARB , then uprated shocks and springs.

I would also consider replacing the cone filter with a std s2 or rs2 airbox. provides superior filtering and cold air so i find gives better low down torque.

Hadn't included suspention and brakes as i've already budgeted for them and keeping an eye open for a bargin lol (pm me with bargins lol (got all powerflex bushes))
Kinda wanted to keep the cone purely coz it makes a nice noise

350-400hp for £2k +/-

Think i heard when you get near the 400BHP mark the rods need replaced with stronger set

Call it 2.5k!!

BUt yes. I think its torque the rods dont like too much of. If I recall its about 600nm limit.
A new set of rods would be well worth adding into the equation meaning you can use the full potential of the RS2 turbo.

Pistons will take loads of hp so they are not your worry provided the car is tuned properly (no detonation)
