was just in the prosess of changing my cam belt on me 3b and wanted to take the metal plate off to get to the water pump undid the bolt holding cam pully on and the dam drive key sheared of the bolt cam undone but how are you ment to undo the cam

never set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointed
Its not eligant but i did it using an adjustable plumbers wrench to grab the camshaft (not by the lobes obviously), and then got a helper to undo the pully nut. Its not as tight as you might think...
