Was driving my s6 the other day and stopped at the lights, the car was idling then just died..
Cant get it to start again!
Did an output test and only the injectors respond..
Car has no codes, and all fuses seem fine.
Have also swapped ecu's with another car and no change!
Any ideas of where to look?
yup. rumour would have it that the car should still run but the timing will retard by 6 degrees or something... but mine died. my hall sensor is on the dizzy so i pulled the dizzy out and the gear is broken. dunno if the hall sensor could cause this or vice versa though. Is the engine turning over but not starting?

check with Peter at http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk/ when you're getting prices for replacement bits by the way. If you say Noel recommended him he probably won't give you any discount but he might give me discount next time I break something. maybe not.

Found the problem..
It was the engine speed sensor!
I measured the resistance when the car wouldn,t start and I got an open circuit.. When the car did start, the resistance was ok.
Happy that problem is solved now
Anyone know the measurements on a comp wheel p/n 3072?
