How to remove MTM chip ?

    Hi all,

I have a MTM '262' chip in my S2, i quite fancy a MRC remap when i get my IC and exhaust sorted, but i would like to know how the MTM chip is held in.

Hopefully its a piggyback and i can whip it out, or if its soldered in (i'm guessing this option ) can i simply swap my ecu with another ABY S2 and then get them both recoded for the immobilliser to work ?

    Cheers in advance

The chips should be in DIL sockets, so it would be easy to remove them.
When Mihnea swapped my chips he let me keep the old ones.

The ECU will have sockets already in it, so the chips just push in.
