    Recognise K26#8 hotside?

    Hi,

I just bought a turbo that was advertised as K27-26 with #8 hotside housing. When I recieved the turbo I started to doubt it to be a #8, since it has a number 6 in the exhaust flange printed. Does anyone know how to recognise a k26#8 hotside housing?
Are there KKK numbers to indicate it is a k26#8?

The hotside exhaust wheel has a diameter of 55mm.

I will add some pics in the following posts.

    Thanks,

    Bram

Plus another "number 6" standing in the middle row (does it indicate anything?)

He keeps on saying it is an #8 hotside. I bought it via Ebay, so have no possibility to visit the man that easily in Germany. And sending it back I am afraid I will loose the money after all.

I already have a few interested people that are willing to buy it, so I think I will just sell it. Hopefully without too much loss

Sell it, if you can get your money back and move on.

Sometimes it isn't worth the hassle to make a stand, chalk it up as a bad experience and put your energy into something else.

ebay.de is getting worse than the u.k site had some battles over stuff before.

                          Fleabay the world over!!!

Pay by credit card, if the goods are not as described, refuse to pay the card bill on the grounds of '' obtaining money by deeception'' and report matter to the police, demand a report no. and give this to your card company to show that you will not be paying up!

Private sales never use credit cards as far as I know. I only have seen Bank Transfer / Paypal and cash as options when buying goods from persons (no companies). But thanks anyway for the advise
