    radiator fan relay

i know i have seen posts on the electrics before but just wanted to check i am testing the correct relay.the fan does not come on untill 102c and only runs for 10-20 seconds, when you switch off the engine the after run circuit works correctly.i have found the relays that bring the fan on for this high setting and the after run but the relay marked 'radiator fan relay' is a mystery,if i bridge the 30+ contacts the fan does not come on,i have also checked for a trigger feed as the engine warms up but get nothing.this is an aby avant any ideas?

peter go to the sjm autotechniks web site and follow his instructions on testing the fans , by bridging the connector for the fan switch located at the bottom of the rad, this will test the fans and relays , worked for me anyway.

sorted- the fan switch was coming in to late, changed it and it now comes in at just over 90c.still intrigued to know what the rad fan relay is supposed to do.
