      well,
am pleased with outcome because at least i know the truth!

the max crank figure was 151.8 hp, 159 lb torque, (at first i thought that was wheels)

but at wheels 106.7 hp, 114 lb.

the operator felt that was low, and that he could see that the ignition kept retarding.
felt might see +15 hp or so with v-power.
only one way to find out!

      the list hp should be 174 hp 2.8 v6 12v, 184 lbs.

so it shows i am well down.
at least i can seriously consider my options for possible improvements, first being to make sure i am at least making 170+ hp in standard form!
and of course to check the engine has some potential in it.
may be worth weighing up switching the motor, changing car completely or accepting my lott.
i am seeing genuine 30+ mpg average. having reset my trip meter a couple of weeks ago when i visited quattronics and that includes some spirited driving it is presently at 31.7.
will definately get it done again with v power, last few times at the pumps i have not felt comfortable with over £1/ litre! but with the knowlege of extra hp at least i will have a choice. i do notice drop in torque at very low revs up hills with 95. even having to change down gears when it would normally just plod up in 5th.

      thanks for interest

(btw operator said fueling seemed ok)

Might be worth giving it another try on vpower, optimax or 99ron tesco fuel and see how you get on. The power band is so much broader compared to the turbo engine though

Charlie is the scattiest bloke I know but he does have a very accurate rolling road and comes highly recommended from me.

the other thing i am not convinced about is the 2-stage intake. supposed to cut in at 4200 rev. i know there is a rise around 4 1/2, but that could be just coming on cam anyway and being starved by the longer intake path. if you extrapulate the curve it looks might it might reach target.

will do an oil change soon anyway. presently mobil 1, have had synta silver recommended. btw where can i buy it? dealer only?
also, would it be worth gearbox / diff oil? 50 bhp loss seemed high through transmission. do tyre pressures make a difference as well?

              sorry about questions!

one more, anyone got a similar print out for their S2. just to rub in what i am missing

              thanks

Have a look at the Weston Rolling road thread from 2006 to see some power

P.S folks 2007 RR is coming up fast and I've had very little response!
