    couple of things

Hi i wondered if anyone could help me

Just been playing with my car this morning, took off the crap cone filter and put the box back on made loads of difference so thats all sorted

But i was playing with VAS 5051 checking N75 and WOT. The throttle position sensor didnt show 100% only went up 2 99% dunno if this is ok. Also the temp sensor was reading -49 which is probably the cause of my bad MPG (15 mpg) but which sensor is it looked on EKTA and it just says coolent temp sensor 2pin or 4pin one is £15 the other is £83 anyone know which 1 is for the ecu temp

    Cheers Guys

Check your throttle cable is tight enough and you're getting WOT.

The temperature sensor will be the 2 pin G62 at the back of the cylinder head. The cheap one.

The temp sensor that sends info to the ECU is located on the back of the cylinder head.

      035 919 369M.
Motronic code name for it is G62 sensor.

      It's white 2 pin sensor with a M14x1.5 thread.

Fitted my new temp sensor, bit of a pain to get on but not to bad

not driven far but i can already feel the difference seems to pull much better and MPG is up

Before the temp would not change on the ecu sensor was always running at -49 so always running rich definitly better now

This sensor was 23 + vat really worth checking if u have low MPG
