Got two new Knock Sensors to fit on my 3B, are they a total pain?? is there a easy way or not??

done them
getting to them is the pain one underneath front and one from the top back and make sure you do not over tighten them or they do not measure properly i think it was 15nm but check first good hunting

Yes they are a PITA to change on the 3B, if only that battery wasn't there..
We ended up moving the Power steering ump right out the way to get access to the front one.
They are located under the Inlet manifold about 20 - 25 CM apart.

I changed the knock sensors today, 10Nm... they work fine and are not the original VAG Bosch sensors but cheaper EPS, not from the stealer.Comment
