    Antilag -- prodrive?

hmm I heard that prodrive for subarau offer antilag packages ... have they a different antilag setup to the ones that people discribe on here that damage the s2? .. I'm trying to find if its possible to have antilag but with less likely failure of parts

You have to understand how it works, than you will know that no matter which type you use it will highly stress some of your engine components.Depending how you set it up it can be better or worse...

            -exhaust valves
            -exhaust manifold
            -turbo turbine side all parts

engine will get extreme thermal load ,thats why ECUs turn it off at certain engine parameters like CLT, EGT ,elapsed time, etc.

The main question is why do you need it.Almost any good Standalone will do it for you.

ALS is only supposed to be used 5-10 seconds before launch, if you're smart that will make the engine last a while too, and if you have the power for that ALS is required for, you SHOULD know how to maintain and take care of your car. Or atleast afford to hire someone who can..

isnt half the fun learning how to get round the lag using the throttle and burying it early-mid corner for max exit speed....antilag seems a bit overkill unless your going into WRC

                      prosty:
the correct term is "Launch control" for that, tough the way you achive it is very similar to
                      AntiLag.
