    Is this normal

My son has just bought his first AUDI. Its a 2.3e coupe, and the car and the engine both look like new, it has been well mentained, the only thing is if you undue the oil filler cap or pull the dip stick the car almost stalls. this dos'nt happen on my s2,so is this normal, and why do's it not happen on the s2,I am begining to think it might be the s2 with the problem

I think it's normal, our 2.3E audi 100 does the same thing.
I think it has to do with the vacuum creation and the S2 being a turbo car.
The 2.3 has a vacuum pump running on the camshaft, creating a vacuum in the engine.
The S2 has a different system, that's also why it has the Bomb and the 2.3 hasn't
    No power, no glory!

I have seen a few 2.3 engines allmost or completely stall when you remove the oil filling cap, so i would think it´s normal.

Funny thing is though, that my 2.2 10v CoupeGT, which also has a vacuum pump running on the crankshaft, does not do it, nor does my 2.1 Audi 100.

Mayby a specieal thing for the 2.3 engine
