No Need for one of those things Audi have thought of a far better way to cool the turbo down by putting in a circulating pump on all 5 pot 20valve turbo lumps, they tend too leak though as they have a plastic fittings.

    Hope this helps

What does this pump do? A turbo timer allows the turbo to cool and ensures it is adequetly lubricated.

        As Jon said,
Turbo timmers are a load of **** for the IL5, my S2 had one fitted when i got it and it done more damage than good to my loom

The best thing to do will be to search "after run pump"

Just make sure you drive it gently before you go home and turn it off, although there is an afterun pump it only circulates coolant, its the oil inside the turbo you dont want to burn.

Circulating coolant intern will cool the oil inside the turbo Turbo Timers ! a good way to waste fuel in my opinion, i would bet that 99.9% of forum members have never even gone near a turbo timer, i know james had aload of hastle with one when he bought his car with it already fitted
