    urs6 upgrade to rs2

Thinking of RS2 specking my urs6, i think i would need the following.

    RS2 manifold

    RS2 turbo or GT3071r

    injectors

    bigger fuel pump

    bigger intercooler

    Then of course a remap

Is there anything i have missed or is there some parts i wouldnt need, im only looking for around 320BP.

    Thanks

Oil and water lines for the turbo if you go 3071. Clutch maybe. New downpipe.

For 320 hp you don't need a remap. just en standard RS2 chip

The AAN ECU will need modified to run with RS2 chips - theres a couple of component changes required to go with RS2 software in the ECU. Expect 315bhp in standard trim (with RS2 camshafts) and upwards of 350-360bhp remapped as long as an intercooler of RS2 sized proportions is used - not so easy on the AAN engines.

Recommend to avoid GT3071R unless plans for big power are needed later. The RS2 turbo bolts straight on and has the right profile for the stated requirement.

Also recommend use of RS2 or 7A exhaust camshaft.

Changing of the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) will be needed if wishing to run with RS2 software. Use of AAN FPR will have slightly incorrect fuel pressure for RS2 software so custom mapping is required to accomodate that.

Renew your fuel filter while you are at it - easy on the AAN - and great peace of mind.
