All the timing marks are shown here. Make sure they are all lined up before you remove and refit the distributor.

and be sure it's the right distributor. As that other thread shows I had some serious heartache with the wrong ones. I've ended up returning all 3 to the supplier.

I'd recommend using a waterproof marker to draw a line on the engine and onto the old distributor before you remove it. When you set all the timing marks up, mark a line on the new distributor in the same place and it will be a good guide. It's essential that you line up the rotor arm with the mark on the distributor body first, then insert the whole distributor into the engine with the marks you've drawn lining up. If you've done it right the rotor arm will be pointing to the distributor cap contact that goes to cylinder 1.

      good luck mate

        Thanks

But I still with the problem because when I bay this car someone have took off the distributor and don't mark it.And now when I put new distributor the car don't start it because the distributor is not apoint with motor. When the motor in point I put distributor and I see 2 marks and when I line it the rotor don't apoint to first cilinder.

The distributor will have the mark on it, nobody has to put a mark on it.
All you have to do is to set all the marks as said above, then put the dizzy in so that it lines up....
it is almost irrelevant where the distributor is set now, it needs to be put in following the marks in the pictures posted

I think he means he doesn’t know which way around the distributer goes into the engine?

Set the engine so the three marks line up as shown in the link above, and then rotate the distributer until the two marks are lined up as shown in the pic below. The position of the distributor in relation to the head doesn’t matter as long as the two marks line up inside.

sorry, you're right. it was the dodgy distributors I got that had marks missing.

Remember, you need to remove the distributor from the head to rotate it, as said earlier, line up the rotor arm with the mark on the body of the distributor (like the pic) and then carefully put the whole lot into the head, it will turn slightly as you push it in, as the teeth are angled, if you are out, withdraw turn it a bit (all of it) and try again...
                  Good luck
