basically about half an hour ago I started driving back from work when the engine cut out and i rolled to a stop in a police station
I got the car home and had a good idea whats gone on it, basically I took the dizzy cap off and cranked the engine and I think the cog on the end of the dizzy has broken (happened on my 20v as well)
I had a quick look for the bolt underneath the dizzy to take the bracket off but its got a metal bar over it, how can I get this off?
Is the dizzy the same as one from a 20v quattro sport? Or does anyone know what the easiest was of taking the pin out of the middle of what used to be the old cog?
Whats the best way of doing this?
