    Some light maintenance

All I intended to do was fit a pair of new knock sensors and a new rad...

I'm sure it won't come as any suprise to those that know me!

Lol looked like mine at the weekend but a bit more advanced, i'd only removed the bumper and intercooler to get at the pulley and timing marks.

Was only apart for a couple of hours to remove the AC as it's knackered and I'm never honestly going to fix it up. Got a lot more access to the turbo now and the rad is under less stress as it's not carrying the extra weight of the condenser. A few neighbours had a look and indeed must have thought that I was completely mad but then it's not a rare sight for the alpinweiss to be in bits outside the house on a weekend or indeed weekday!

                  Anything salvageable of the AC?

Yes, most of it worked 2 years ago when the pipe blew. Just going to hold on to the bits for a short while before I finally convince myself to sell the stuff on. I'm not sure of compatability for 3B / ABY but I know some of the pipework is diffent. I'm sure that some monitary offers might sway me! (It's not a for sale thread uber-moderator Jamo so I don't have to quote a price as I'm technically not selling anything, offers of money will simply oil the wheels of commerce! )

Stu, you've always said that . It's the ABYness that does it
