    Broken WGFV

Last night while refitting the MAF to Turbo hose, I broke the WGFV. I have an idea that it was cracked and maybe that is part of my problem - so I don't mind replacing it.

Anyway, there are none in South Africa but I will get one from vagparts in 3 weeks (the courier from the UK costs 20GBP!) when my Dad comes out from the UK.

I the meanwhile, can I drive the car without a WGFV? Surely without it, the failsafe mechanical boost of .8 Bar should apply? If I can drive it, should I just block all the pipes to the WGFV?

    Any ideas will be appreciated!
