does anyone know what boost pressure is should see on the guage on my 94 s2 aby avant with an amd chip.

hi mate , ive got an aby with a homefrys on it i used see 21psi max.

Iwas told that i have an AmD map on mine when i bought it and i see about 1.5bar falling graddually to around 1.2-1.3bar on red line.

If your wastegate was dodgy wouldn't see boost as it opens at 0.4 bar

16 PSI is standard boost pressure for an ABY or 1.1 bar as we prefere on the forum.

I reckon your car has a standard chip.

hi jamo, unfortunatley my waste gate diaphram is fine, i found an air leak last week,from the pressure side of the wastegate to the exhaust via the wastegate valve guide, lots of miles , lots of ware in the guide, that can't be good .

i was sold the car as amd chipped,and have known of it since it was 18 months old . when it was chipped but stranger things have happened.

i removed the ecu talked to paul and identified the amd chip, so back to the drawring board.
